Refresh
Refresh is a free clothing program of the Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children, helping local children and teens have access to clothing that fits, feels comfortable, and helps them feel confident at school, at home, and in the community.
Through Refresh, eligible families can receive new and like-new, prewashed clothing at no cost, including everyday clothing, shoes, socks, seasonal items, and other essentials. We also provide business attire for high school students preparing for employment opportunities.
Parents and caregivers can apply directly for children and teens in their household. Students age 16 and older may also apply directly for themselves
Family Support Coordinators and other professionals working with local families are welcome to submit an application on behalf of a family they support
Priority is given to families experiencing financial hardship and to school-age children and high school students with an immediate clothing need
Applying is simple and takes approximately 5 minutes. Complete the Refresh Application Form below with information about the child or student and their clothing needs. Once the application is submitted, our team will review the request and contact you regarding availability and next steps.
All clothing provided through Refresh is completely free. Our goal is simple: to help every child and teen we serve feel comfortable, confident, and ready for every opportunity.
Refresh was originally established by Our Open Umbrella, whose vision and commitment helped create this important resource for children and families in North Attleboro.
The Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children is proud to carry that work forward by operating and expanding Refresh to serve families throughout the Greater Attleboro Area. We are grateful to Our Open Umbrella for building the foundation that made this next chapter possible.
If you are interested in donating new or like new clothes to Refresh, please email refresh@councilforchildren.org to coordinate a drop off time.
