Volunteer With Us

We are always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who want to support our mission to provide year-round programs and educational support to enrich the lives of children in need. There are a number of ways to get involved with our organization, with a range of commitment levels:

Christmas is For Kids

During the first two weeks of December, volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to organize and distribute holiday packages to local families.

  • Volunteers are required to complete a CORI form every year. 

  • Children ages 13–17 must also pass a CORI check and may volunteer only when accompanied by an adult who has also passed a CORI check.

  • All new volunteers of driving age or above MUST include a copy of their driver's license with their CORI form.

Once complete, volunteers can sign up for shifts where they’ll select a child’s wish list, shop in our distribution center, and assemble packages—all under the guidance of our seasoned “elves.”

Nicky O Afterschool Support Staff

Support the lead instructor with hands-on activities like painting, and crafting in our Nicky O Afterschool program while giving students the space to explore their creative talents. The commitment is a 90-minute class that meets two times each week for 6 weeks. We’re leaning into the power of community—partnering with local volunteers, parents, artists, and mentors who are passionate about making an impact. We’d love to hear from you!
