Volunteer With Us
We are always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who want to support our mission to provide year-round programs and educational support to enrich the lives of children in need. There are a number of ways to get involved with our organization, with a range of commitment levels:
Christmas is For Kids
During the first two weeks of December, volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to organize and distribute holiday packages to local families.
Volunteers are required to complete a CORI form every year.
Children ages 13–17 must also pass a CORI check and may volunteer only when accompanied by an adult who has also passed a CORI check.
All new volunteers of driving age or above MUST include a copy of their driver's license with their CORI form.
Once complete, volunteers can sign up for shifts where they’ll select a child’s wish list, shop in our distribution center, and assemble packages—all under the guidance of our seasoned “elves.”
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for as many slots as they like here: Greater Attleboro Area Council for Children: Christmas is For Kids 2026 Elfing
Nicky O Afterschool Support Staff
Support the lead instructor with hands-on activities like painting, and crafting in our Nicky O Afterschool program while giving students the space to explore their creative talents. The commitment is a 90-minute class that meets two times each week for 6 weeks. We’re leaning into the power of community—partnering with local volunteers, parents, artists, and mentors who are passionate about making an impact. We’d love to hear from you!
