The
Bears on Board Program places
new teddy bears in Police and
Fire Vehicles, at Hospital ER
and Pediatric Units and at Juvenile
Courts in Attleboro, North Attleboro,
Mansfield, Norton, Seekonk and
Rehoboth. The new teddy bear
is used to calm a child found
in stressful and sometimes violent
situations. The new teddy bear
is the child’s to keep and love.
The Attleboro Sun Chronicle
is the program's official drop
off point for those wishing
to donate bears. Since the program's
inception in 1993, the

newpaper has been our
official collection point, collecting
over 6000 bears to date.
Bears on Board recently received
a donation of cuddly and happy
teddy bears due to a wonderful
collaboration between the Council,
the Norton Daisy Girl Scouts
and Plaster Plus of North Attleboro.
